After growing up in Heathsville, Virginia, I moved to Boca Raton, Florida to pursue my Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Journalism from Florida Atlantic University. Upon graduating I started my career in digital marketing – managing content, creating newsletters, social media management, and engaging communities. I knew I had a knack for fostering communities when I attended the CMX Summit in Los Angeles a few years ago. Surrounded by hundreds of other community builders, something was very obvious – community is critical. Now, I spend my time sharing the value of establishing a community among company brands. I’m currently pursuing my Master’s in Global Sustainability. I’m passionate about ocean conservation efforts and hope to be able to bring more awareness to conservation efforts that help us protect and appreciate our oceans. When I’m not strategizing how to build brand and community, I love spending time with my pup, Thor, learning how to play the piano, painting, and I’m currently learning how to produce and edit podcasts.

Not only is Briana incredibly easy to work with, but she also really knows social media and content. She’s not someone who just throws up content without thinking about it—she’s really thoughtful in her approach and takes care with a brand’s voice.
